Zoology (Animal Life) Squirrels, grizzly bears, raccoons, red fox, cardinal bird are just some of them -squirrels they live in a tree and the tree isn’t harmed, things That eat squirrels are hawks, foxes, eagles, dogs -grizzly bears hibernate during the winter, stash food, likes honey, have to build up their weight by colleting fat ganing forty pounds of fat per week

  3. Botany (Plant Life) Varity of plants (moss, ferns, wild flowers, and other small plants) Certain trees Sweet gum- leaves are like maple leaves Oak Maples Birch Red bud trees grow in a spring, grows to 50in -8’c -16’c 18’ f – 61’ f

  4. Geography (Physical Landscape/habitat) • The warmer the temp the more precipitation the cooler the temp the less precipitation • Trees stratum 60-100 feet high • An herb layer of perennial forbs that bloom primarily in early spring • A ground layer of licks, club masses, and true mosses

  5. Meteorology (weather & Human Influence) • Is always changing • Has four distinct seasons: winter, spring, summer, fall • Winter is the coldist and summer the warmist • Between 30 and 60 inchs a year • precipitation in this biome happens year round
