NONVIOLENT TACTICS the methods of civic action Over 200 tactics have been documented, including varieties of: noncooperation, civil disobedience, protests, low-risk mass actions, vigils, strikes, boycotts, sit-ins, displays of symbols, street theatre, songs, humour, monitoring of authorities and spending, social networking technologies (e.g., Facebook organizing, blogging), education/training, social/economic empowerment initiatives.
