Appropriate Usage / Targeted Audience • Education • Commercial • Military • Social • Inappropriate usage? • Who do you expect to view it? • People with disabilities (eg. Blind / deaf) • Developing nations (eg. Low power computers / low resolution screens) • Mobile versus desktop
Age Controls and Censorship • Internal restrictions to different sites (eg. Facebook from school) • Hosting site restrictions (eg. Adult logins) • Hosting site contracts (eg. Indicating over 18 for adult sites, or 13+ for Facebook etc). • Government censorship – ACMA – but not all agree. • Violence – eg. on Youtube. • Sex – eg. ACMA for Refused Classification. • Language – Inappropriate language, abuse (eg. Facebook).
