Self-Study Assertion: Among the many analyses presented in the group summary reports is the Student Ratings of Overall Outcomes. Student responses assess courses according to the following measures: progress on relevant learning objectives chosen by the instructor; excellence of the teacher; excellence of the course; summary evaluation.   According to the IDEA Center, the values in the following table (raw and adjusted) and bar graph (raw scores only) represent the percentage of classes with ratings at or above the converted score of the IDEA databases.  Percentages that exceed 60% indicate that the group’s overall instructional effectiveness was unusually high.
