The killing of the sacred python – ROLE OF SNAKE IN CHRISTIANITY – exemplifies tension.

How has the white man been “very clever” according to Obierika, and why is it “too late”? “We have fallen apart” “not found the mouth to tell of their suffering” – oral tradition breaking apart
