Meeting Logistics & Support • Today is the last scheduled PHRI meeting for 2012 • Anticipate at least 2 meetings in 2013 (pending invites), most likely January 9 and February 13, to close out consensus on the Data Harmonization Profile and the PHRI CDA Specification • Moving into 2013, we are seeking volunteers to provide administrative and logistic support to continue the Initiative
Data Harmonization Update • 2 meetings remaining in 2012: • December 13 from 12-2 PM ET • December 27 from 12-2 PM ET • Next steps • Moving to consensus on the Data Harmonization Profile (pending final updates from FHIM) • Discussing new topics & support to continue the work of the group
Stage 3 Sprint Update • PHRI CDA Specification will remain open for public comment through Friday, December 14 • Questions? Pilot Discussion • Reporting programs may tailor the PHRI CDA Specification to develop pilots • Pilots will not be run by the PHRI, but by the pilot participants • Pilot Objectives • Demonstrate executable implementations of harmonized data elements and specification templates • Document lessons learned to help guide their own implementation or to find problems with specifications • Encourage feedback to CDC and PHRI stakeholders to improve harmonized data elements and template specifications • Identify dependencies and burden on EHR data providers and public health agencies that send and receive data
