One Way to Make a FIRMette Start by going to www.fema.gov

Click on Flood

Click on Map Service Center

Click on Enter the Map Service Center

Enter street address & click Product Search or click on Product Catalog

Click on Latest Available Flood Maps

Select State

Select County

Select Community

Click on Get FEMA Issued Flood Maps

Select from list of mapsGo to end of list to find Index

Click on magnifying glass next to INDO at end of list

Click Zoom Win to zoom in on particular section of map

Find area of interest & number of panel Close this window

Go back to list of maps and click on magnifying glass next to number 19

Panel 19Click Make a FIRMette

Will move pink box to cover area to be printed and Green box (front and north arrow) will be part of FIRMette

Moved pink box to cover area of interest

Default for 8 1/2 by 11 paper • Default says Print Area • Select Adobe or Image file

Now see what will be on FIRMette – almost done

Select Save your FIRMette Then select Save or Open

This is the FIRMette to print
