How It Works • Clean Currents shops your electricity load to leading energy suppliers advocating from each the best price. • Clean Currents provides a rate quote for electricity for a term of 1-3 years that includes 10% – 100% wind power. • Buying as a group gets better prices by submitting more Kilowatts together to the supplier. The caveat is all must agree to same contract term, power mix on the same day. • Upon agreement of the price quote, prices are refreshed and contracts are implemented with the licensed electricity provider. Prices change daily with the energy markets. • There are no hardware changes or special equipment. • There is no change to the reliability of your electricity supply. Utility bills will still come from serving utility company. 5

What are the other benefits • The EPA will provide each organization with a Certificate to display and recognition on the EPA’s Green Power Partnership website. • Clean Currents will provide each business, institution or non-profit organization with an Environmental Stewardship Certificate. • Each business, institution or non-profit organization may use the EPA’s Green Power Partner marketing partnership with the EPA supporting green power. • Free use of the “Powered By Clean Currents” Logo for marketing / printed material. • Reduced Risk of Climate Change. • Clean Currents will facilitate the application process for each business, institution or nonprofit organization to become an EPA Green Power Partner. 11
