  4. Concerned Citizens Committee • Formed by Doris and Kenneth Bradshaw • About 500 members • Organized to address threat of Defense Depot on surrounding area • Unanswered deaths is a motivation

  5. Contaminated Site? • Contaminates did seep through into residential areas • Drainage Ditches that flow from Depot • Possibility of inaccurate records • 1954-1970s toxic substances handled and buried

  6. Highly Populated with Minorities? • Almost 100% African-American population • African-American 97.54% • White 2.27% • Other .19%
