Join the JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge from March 29-31, 2017. Develop citizenship, leadership, and self-esteem while having fun with activities like adventure training, team building, and ropes challenges. Follow the schedule for a packed itinerary of learning opportunities and team bonding. Safety and discipline are paramount, with medical support available on-site. Schedule • Day 1: • Depart 1st school: 0730 • Arrive Grizzly Ranch: 0930 • Integrate squads and team building: 0930-1130 • Chaperones meet in lodge: 0930 – 1130 • Lunch: 1130-1300 • Certification of all squads on low ropes course • Dinner: 1730 (Retreat Flag) • Cabin organization: 1830-1915 • Night Hike (all squads): 1915 to 2100 – mix of hiking and science • Lights out: 2200
Schedule • Day 2: • Wakeup – 0700 • Breakfast – 0800 (Raise Flag) • Three squads rotate through 2 Leadership Stations (90 mins each) • Three squads rotate through Orienteering and Rope Bridging Stations (two squads 90 mins each) • Four squads rotate through High Ropes (Alpine Tower & Zip Line/Leap of Faith), plus others as available (3 hrs.) • Lunch – 1200 • Three squads rotate through 2 Leadership Stations (90 mins each) • Four squads rotate through Orienteering and Rope Bridging Stations (two squads 90 mins each) • Three squads rotate through High Ropes (Alpine Tower & Zip Line/Leap of Faith), plus others as available (3 hrs.) • Dinner – 1700 (Retreat Flag) • Camp Fire/Skits – 1900 to 2100 (by cabin) • Lights out - 2200
