  2. The Real ID Act was initially introduced after the severe attacks of 11th September and was then passed back in the year 2015. Its final enforcement around the fifty states will be done in October 2020. It was created for establishing the minimum security standards just for the driver’s licenses issued by state in order to decrease the terrorism.

  3. It is mandatory for any residential to enter federal facilities to attain REAL-ID or a genuine passport that passes the minimum safety levels. Such standards can vary state by state, but these all can easily follow the need that issuers should be screened even more thoroughly, indicating the necessity of paperwork like residential proof and social security numbers.

  4. Such new REAL D-compliant cards can easily be issued with an extra level of technology that proves quite difficult for forgers to replicate. The REAL-ID licenses possess gold or black star marks on their front so that it can be differentiated between non-compliant ID cards.

  5. There are still few rogue states which are issuing such cards without the star currently. Check for ‘Not for federal Identification’ or ‘Federal Limits Apply’ inscriptions on the top right corner of your license to determine non-compliance.
