Course Objectives WMO • GDPFS and Sat (1st week) To update and broaden the knowledge of staff responsible for operational weather forecasting and development, to ensure the access and optimal use of existing NWP/EPS and satellite-based products with emphasis on forecasting hazardous weather conditions • PWS (2nd week) To provide knowledge of a broad range of topics related to improved PWS, and forecasting and delivery of services to media and disaster manager authorities Training Workshop Goals, Objectives and Programme 6
