AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT BANK GROUP Benefits • provides Malawi and eastern Zambia with a link to the Nacalaport • providing a viable alternative route for the countries’ exports and imports as compared to the Beira, Durban and Dar-es-Salaam routes • facilitate rapid movement of goods and people between the three countries • reducing in-transit times and protect the investment from overloading of heavy goods vehicles
