  3. The River of Nile The River of Nile is a major north flowing river in northeastern Africa, generally regarded as the longest river in the world. The length of the river is 4,258 miles . The river has two major resources the White Nile and the Blue Nile. The Nile river flows from South to North. The Nile in Egyptian language is made by hieroglyphs . The river got it`s name from the Greek word Neilos .

  4. Gods There are many Gods of Egypt. Some are Amun, Bes, Bastet , and Atum. Amun was a important God throughout Egyptian history. Amun was combined with the Sun God. At the height of all the Gods Amun was the king of Gods. A large important temple was built at Thebes to honor Amun. Bes was a Dwarf with lion and human features. Bes protected snake and scorpion bites. Amulets of Bes were popular at all levels of Egyptian society. Past Egytian history the roles have passed on .

  5. The Spinx The Spinx is to the northeast of Khafre`s Valley Temple Where it sits was once a quarry. Khafre`s workers shaped the stone into a lion and gave it their king`s face over 4,500 years ago, but no one is certain that it is his face. The material of the Sphinx is a limestone bedrock.
