Questions Jesus Asked… YOU! • As the Master Teacher, Jesus knew exactly what His audience needed to hear. • It wasn’t always what they wanted to hear! • They weren’t even always supposed to understand Him.
Questions Jesus Asked… YOU! • One of the best teaching techniques Jesus employed was the use of questions. • It is not simply a rhetorical technique – it is also initiates a cognitive process. • When we read Jesus’ questions, we are not merely spectators of the event – we are part of it!
Questions Jesus Asked… YOU! • From now on, whenever you come across a question in the Bible…answer it! • The Scriptures are not merely historical or narrative documents, but they tell our story as well. • Jesus asked numerous questions that we must answer – some of them you will see this morning…
Questions Jesus Asked… YOU! • “Could you not watch with Me one hour?” – Matthew 26:40 • One of the greatest investments we make in our lives is with our time! • Matthew 6:21; Ephesians 5:16
Matthew 6:21 “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” • Are you spending most of your time tending to physical things or spiritual matters?
Ephesians 5:16 “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Hebrews 6:1 “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God”
