University of Ljubljana HISTORY • Largest and oldestuniversity in Slovenia • Established (as nationaluniversity) in 1919 with 5 member schools, althoughpredecesorsof the highereducationinstitutionsalreadyexisted in the 17th century • At present the University of Ljubljana consists of 23 faculties and 3 arts academies • It is a comprehensive, traditional, research oriented university with 42.000 students, 5.920 employees and an annual budget of 300 Million €

Faculty of Administration FACTS Legal status: member of the University of Ljubljana, which is a public, autonomous educational, scientific research and artistic institution ofhigher education with special status. Numberof employees: 38 teaching staff as full-time employees, 21 teaching staff who work under associates’ contracts and 32 administrative workers. Number of students in year2011/12: full-time students:          1.912part-time students:            345 TOTAL:                              2.257

Faculty of Administration ABOUT LIBRARY • The library collection currently contains around: • 10 000 monographs • 15 000 monographs, • 12 000 diplomas, specializations theses and masters theses • 35 current print foreign journal titles • 30 currentprintSlovenianjournaltitles. • The library is linked together with the other libraries of the University of Ljubljana in a joint library information system known as DIKUL, in which it is a member of a consortium which purchases various electronic resources, mainly foreign databases and scientific journals. • Openinghours: • MONDAY - FRIDAY: 8.00 - 19.00 • THE DAY BEFORE THE HOLIDAY: 8.00 - 16.30 • SATURDAY, SUNDAY, HOLIDAYS: CLOSED

Membershipfee:Half year fee: 8,00€Access to the library and its collection is free of charge. INDIVIDUAL LIBRARY TRAINING COURSES - how to use library facilities, services and online resources. Every Wednesday and Friday at 10 a.m. (from 16 October 2012) - send a request to natasa.svrznjak@fu.uni-lj.siand appoint your date!!! Courses can be held in English or Croation language.
