  3. Examples… • His face said everything he was thinking. • Her smile warmed my heart. • Look at my car, she’s a beauty. • The icicles gleamed in the groggy sunlight. • The fire swallowed the entire forest. • The two trees fought to be the tallest.

  4. Worksheet Introduction • In each sentence, an object or idea is personified. • Identify the object or idea that is being personified. • Then, explain which human traits or action is applied to the object or idea.
