  2. 被動語態的基本句型: • 主動句:S. + V. + O. (ex) John likes Patty. (ex) Kevin opened the windows. • 被動句: S. + BeV. + Vpp. + by+ O. (ex) Patty is liked by John. (ex) The windows were opened by Kevin.

  3. 何時會使用被動語態? • 當句子主詞接受動詞時。 (ex) My money was stolen by Frank. (ex) Her hat was blown away. • 當做出動作者的身份不明確、不重要或眾所皆知時， by + O. 可以省略。 (ex) English is spoken around the world. (ex) The windows were broken last night.

  4. 各種時態被動語態句型: • 現在式: S. + am/is/are + Vpp. + by + O. • 過去式: S + was/were + Vpp. + by + O. • 未來式: S + will/be going to + be + Vpp. + by + O. • 進行式: S + beV. + being + Vpp. + by + O. • 授與動詞: S+ beV. + Vpp. + 物品 +by + O. 物品 +beV. + Vpp. +介係詞+O. + by + O. • 使役動詞: S + beV. + 使役Vpp. + to V + by + O. • 現在完成式: S + have/has + been + Vpp. + by + O.

  6. The lady sings a song. A song is sung by the lady.

  7. The girl eats the watermelon. The watermelon is eaten by the girl.

  8. The woman grows the plant. The plant is grown by the woman.

  9. She put the pot plant on the table. The pot plant was put on the table be her.

  10. He sold his house. The house was sold by him.

  11. The car hit the tree. The tree was hit by the car.

  12. The boy read the books. The books were read by the boy.

  13. The woman will buy a coat. The coat will be bought by the woman.

  14. The boy will tell a story. A story will be told by the boy.

  24. The girl’s mom made her eat the food. The girl was made to eat the food by her mom.

  26. Father has told the story many times. The story has been told many times by Father.
