How do you get started? • Assign a staff member to be the champion for family-centered care. • Parents will be honored that you asked. • Seek diversity in child’s level of care, family’s culture, insurance status. • Posters in your practice, ask parents as you see them, or make some phone calls. • Seek technical assistance on recruiting of parents/caregivers and on your project. • Review your Family-Centered Care toolkit in your QTIP notebook.

  5. Support for Mental Health Federation of Families of SC A Statewide Family Network organized to provide information, training and support for families of children who have been identified with or are at risk of developing an emotional or behavioral disorder.
