  3. Engineer Officer of the Watch • HNC / HND Route • New Updated and Revised HND Marine Engineering • Amended Phase Lengths • Foundation Degree Route • Updated Foundation Degree Modules • Revised Timings for Workshop • Amended Phase Lengths

  4. Electro-Technical Officer • Foundation Degree in Marine Electrical/Electronics • Updated Module Specifications • Amended Phasings

Pre-Cadet Entry • SSMS provides 3 pre-cadetship routes • Level 2 Diploma in Engineering – access to Phase 1 of Marine Engineering HNC/D Route • Level 3 Diploma Shipping & Marine Operations – access to Phase 1 of Foundation Degree • Integrated Pre-Cadetship leading to HND and OOW Certification.
