CASRAI, CERIF, euroCRIS and CRIS So we start with … CASRAI process producing a clear business definition of information for a particular process or exchange … … which can then be represented in CERIF (looked after by eurocris)or another suitable data model … …. and used by system suppliers/builders to move data in or out of a CRIS CASRAI profiles, euroCRIS Barcelona Nov 10-11 2015

The CASRAI Process • Business Subject Experts (non-IT) from Producer/Consumer orgs form a small Working Group • Identify Input References (what existing requirements are clear and known and representative of admin data requirements) • Define a Question Set for the data consumer • Define an Answer Set for the data producer(s) • Answer Set becomes the published standard profile with terms/definitions CASRAI Modeller formally expresses standard profile in CASRAI Generic XML Schema Technology experts/modellers at vendors and nonprofit solutions providers either implement the generic XML or use it to map to preferred exchange technology Producers of admin data agree to publish using their choice of CASRAI Connector.
