THE LYING TONGUE IS IT OUT ON THE LOOSE?
Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Shall I not tell you the worst of major sins?” Associating partners with Allah, disobeying parents.” He was reclining, then he sat up and said, “and indeed giving false statements, and indeed bearing false witness….” And he kept repeating it until the companions wished that he would stop.
Satan makes sins look insignificant and minor and then gradually deceives us to commit those sins.
Allah (swt) says: “Not a word does (he or she) utters but there is a watcher by him ready (Surah Al-Qaf 50: Verse 18)
THE TWO GREAT LIES 1. A lie against Allah (swt) “Who can be more wicked than one who invents a lie against Allah…..” Surah Al An’am 6: Verse 93 2. A Lie against Muhammad (pbuh) Prophet (pbuh) said: "Ascribing false things to me is not like ascribing false things to anyone else. Whosoever tells a lie against me intentionally then surely let him occupy his seat in Hell-Fire." ... (Bukhari)

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Verily Lying leads to wickedness, and Verily wickedness leads to the Hell Fire” (Bukhari)
Lies are often used to cover up problem areas in your life like a band aid. YOU CAN HIDE LIES BUT YOU CANT RUN FROM THEM!
THE THREE EXCEPTIONS It Must be crystal clear in our minds that this concession is given to us by Allah (swt),for ONLY three special circumstances.
Allah's Messenger (pbuh) said: “A liar is not one who tries to bring reconciliation amongst people and speaks good (in order to avert dispute), or he conveys good”. (Muslim)
Can you and I honestly say that we have committed ourselves unconditionally to the Truth?
YES to Jokes NO to Lies Abu Hurayrah (ra) said that the Prophet (pbuh) was told, "O Prophet (pbuh), you are joking with us." He (pbuh) said: "I only say what is true.“ (Tirmidhi)

Prophet Mohammad (pbuh) was nicknamed ‘As Sadiq’ and ‘Al Ameen’ meaning ‘The Truthful’ and ‘The Trustworthy’ even before he was bestowed with Prophethood!
A companion of the Prophet (pbuh) Sa’ad bin abi Waqqas (ra) said: Every shortcoming is natural to the believer except for Deception and Lying
Does my family TRUST me? Am I a Trustworthy friend?
If the answer is NO to any of the questions then we need to to where are we going wrong?
