Hyperbole • Hyperbole-using exaggeration to make a point. • Her brain is the size of a pea.
Onomatopoeia Onomatopoeia-sound word. The door bell ding when I pushed it.
Alliteration • Alliteration-repetition of beginning sound. • The bumble bee buzz around town.
Personification • Personification-giving human qualities to something not human. • The rain kissed my cheeks as it fell.
