What Is Health?? The state of being free from illness or injury: "he was restored to health"; "a health risk".
And What Is Ageing?? Grow old or older, visibly and obviously so: "you haven't aged a lot".
Minister for Health Tanya Plibersek… Tanya Plibersek was elected to the House of Representatives for Sydney in 1998, 2001, 2004, 2007 and 2010. She was elected to the Shadow Ministry after the 2004 election. But now she is a hard working woman as the Minister for health. She is in charge of many parts of the health portfolio like she helps prevent people with there habits of smoking and much more… She is also supported by other ministers too.
Minister for Health & Ageing Mark Butler Mark Christopher Butler (born 8 July 1970) has been the Australian Labor Party representative for the electoral division of Port Adelaide in north-western Adelaide, South Australia since the 2007 federal election, succeeding prior Labor MP Rod Sawford. In 2009 Rudd Ministry reshuffle, Butler was appointed Parliamentary Secretary for Health. On 14 September 2010, he was sworn in as Minister for Mental Health and Ageing in the Second Gillard Ministry. Mark Butler is now responsible for health and ageing and one of the things he is responsible for is to help schools affected by suicide.
Minister for Indigenous Health Snowdon was a teacher with the Northern Territory Teaching Service before entering politics. He was a Senior Project Officer with the Central Land Council in Alice Springs1983–87 and was founding President of the Central Australian Regional Trades and Labour Council, then Assistant Secretary of the Northern Territory Trades and Labour Council. Now he is the minister for Indigenous health and does a fantastic job at it.
Catherine King Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Ageing King was the only Labor candidate to win a seat at the 2001 election from the Liberal Party of Australia, and secured a 5.5% swing,the largest swing to a Labor candidate in the poll. She was likely helped when the Liberals' initial candidate, Olympic gold medallist Russell Mark, abruptly resigned, leaving King to campaign more or less uncontested for 18 months. She maintained her seat at the 2004, 2007 and 2010 elections. Now she is the Parliamentary Secretary for Health and Ageing she is amazing at what she does.
