After you have reviewed job titles in all areas are you CONFUSED about the generic terms… CAD and Product development? If so – join the crowd you have plenty of company. CAD– refers to computer aided design. It can relate to any and all types of design work on computers from surface design graphics to technical specs and pattern or marker making for industry. Product Development – literally can refer to “any” product in the world. The primary product for the product development concentration in FTT is apparel. The primary products that can be developed in Fashion/Textile design Technologies are surface designs and even some home or fashion products they are applied on to.
