April 2018 Development Committee Report As we enter our second decade, the ongoing development activities of the IWC will continue much as they have in the past. While the Development Committee will track the progress of ongoing IWC fundraising, the Committee focus will be on preparing for a major ‘human capital’ campaign to raise money to fulfill the new vision. At the April meeting we will briefly discuss: *What the ‘human capital’ campaign entails *Who will be involved *How many additional resources
A Model Campaign In addition – IWC’s own fundraising policies and procedures will be developed
Give. Get. Set Policy. Advocate. Maintain Ongoing Fundraising AND Assist with Campaign BOARD ROLES “The board should guard against a natural tendency for it to behave as if its development or fund raising committee alone bears the responsibility for initiatives in this area. ”
