Who/What is Value First? • We are a new and different GPO developed just for you; the providers of Services to the Elderly, offering the products and services you use every day • We are owned by the LeadingAge state associations, therefore this is your GPO • In addition to receiving great pricing on products and services, your participation contributes non-dues revenue to your Association which in turn benefits you, the provider • There is no cost to you, the provider, to join

What makes Value First different from the GPO I currently use? • As your Association we better understand you and your purchasing needs • We know, firsthand, the reimbursement challenges you face here, in our state • We understand your regulatory issues • Most importantly, YOU the member, are the reason your state association exists! If you’re not satisfied, we’re not satisfied.

  4. Who can join Value First? • Primary: Providers of services to the elderly • Members of your not-for profit association • For-profit providers • Secondary: Any willing buyer: including those not • affiliated with any association • Other types of residential properties or organizations

  7. Routinely asked questions: Can I belong to Value First if I belong to another GPO? Yes. We are not exclusive. You can pick and choose which Value First vendors you wish to work with. If I sign the participation agreement, does it obligate me to purchase from Value First? No. Signing the agreement ALLOWS you to purchase from Value First and MedAssets. It does not obligate you to buy. If I check off the name of a vendor on the Letter of Participation Does it obligate me to purchase from that vendor through the Value First contract? Only if the pricing is the same or LESS with Value First and MedAssets.

Just contact your local representative at your association or Scot Scurlock at 202-465-4313. Can I find enrollment information online? Yes. Go to your association website and click on purchasing or go to www.valuefirstonline.com How may I cancel my contract with Value First? Easy. You have a 90 day cancellation clause.
