1. Apuntes 29-30 de mayo El condicional The conditional The conditional expresses what would happen under certain circumstances. ¿Qué harías con un millón de dólares? What would you do with one million dollars? - Me compraría una casa en la playa. - I’d buy myself a house on the beach.

2. The conditional is formed in much the same way as the future. For most verbs, the conditional endings are attached to the end of the infinitive. 3. The same verbs that are irregular in the future tense are also irregular in the conditional. 4. The conditional and the past subjunctive are often used together to express hypothetical situations. The verb that follows the word si (if) is conjugated in the past subjunctive. ¿Qué harías si ganaras a la lotería?
