Mythology • Pisces is an ancient constellation derived from the story of the terrible Greek god Typhon. Typhon tried to overthrow Zeus and his group of gods which lead them to flee to Egypt. It is said that one day Aphrodite and her son Eros were walking along the riverbank of the Nile when they sensed the presence of the monstrous god. They quickly plunged into the river where they took the form of fishes and escaped. To this day we see them as the Northern Fish and the Western fish of Pisces.
The Monster Typhon Typhon was the son of Gaia. He was a super monster so strong that Zeus and the other gods didn’t want to fight him, so they all went to Egypt. http://monsters.monstrous.com/typhon.htm
