Who Am I? • This is where you will introduce yourself and tell the attendees a little bit about you. • You will need to add your picture. • Ideas…. What is important to you… • When are you the happiest? • What was the best day in your life so far? • Who do you admire?
Personal Information • This slide is your chance to get anything off your chest that you want to tell your teachers and family about things you need them to know. • Things that frustrate you, things you appreciate. • How do you feel about school and your life?
Activities and Interests • This is where you tell us about who you are and what you like to do for fun/hobby/interest. • What school activities are you doing right now? • What do you like to do for fun/afterschool/weekends. • What are you a nerd about? What do you get excited about? • Don’t forget photos, poems, art, etc.
Goals for This Year • What are your main goals for school, academics, grades, classes for the rest of this year?

My Personal Strengths • What are you good at in life? Not just school subjects, but skills, hobbies, social skills, ways you think act or do things. • Examples: Strong reader, writer, math, video games, sports, computers, babysitting, skateboarding, texting, fashion, listening, cooking etc.
Challenges and Weaknesses • This is where you put in the things you struggle with in school, in life, in anything. • Things that frustrate you, or you know are hard for you or that you can’t figure out. • Example: I struggle with reading, writing, math, making friends, bullying, handling stress, family issues, feelings, fears, or anxieties.
Areas of Confusion • This is the place where you will put add things that have been confusing for you this year. Is there anything we've been doing in class that is not making sense to you or that you think you need to do better in? • How can your parents and teachers help you with that?
Homework • How has homework been going (amount, type, etc.)? • What has been helpful? • Has anything felt like busywork that isn't helping you learn? • What can your teachers do to make homework really useful practice for you? • What can be set up for you at home to help you do your best? (Find websites, games, set up a HW routine, determine how you will get books to read at home, find extra practice work, etc.).
Most Successful Classes/Subjects/Best Work • Here is where you put in the class you are the best at and explain why you think its your best performing class. • How did you become so successful in these subjects? • What Evidence can you show of this? • You need will be adding samples of your best work on the next pages or in your Navigation binder.
Toughest Classes/Subjects… • This is where you talk about the classes that are giving you the biggest challenge or that you are doing the worst in and explain why you think that is happening. • When did you start to struggle with this subject. • Do you want to overcome this struggle

But you are far from finishing. • To be FINISHED means you’ve gone back over it, edited it, added personal touches, photos, clip art, videos, links, and put extra effort into it. • DO THAT NOW!
Practice Means Perfect • Finally, you will need to practice your delivery so you look professional! • This means more than just reading it through. You need to practice your presentation by presenting it to a friend or teacher. • Then, decide who you are you going to invite to your conference and how are you going to dress up to look professional.
