Workfare Contracted sites: -training -variety -location/ public transportation -supervisor always on site -possibility of hire -homeless -non-English speaking -sex and/or ex-offenders -flexibility -same conditions as other employees
Workfare No: • political activities • hazardous duties • Workers Compensation insurance • + 8 hours per day • +30 hours per week • personal work for agency staff
Non-ABAWDS • May be in any activity. • Must complete required workfare hours OR minimum of 3 hrs per week in education, work or job search.
ABAWDS • May be in any activity, exceptJob Overview. • Must complete the required amount of workfare hours OR 80 hrs per month in education, part-time work or training.
