Outputs, Activities and Indicators of Achievements • Output 1 (the organizing level) • Produce education materials and website; organize training course • Activity • Organize a training course of 4 sessions • Produce a pamphlet • Create a data base in the Union website • Indicators of Achievement • 20 workers join the training course • Distribute 2000 pamphlets • 500 hits of the data base in the website
Outputs, Activities and Indicators of Achievements • Output 2 (the organizing level) • A survey on HKDL workers’ view on the followings: • the present unfair and biased grievance procedures • the introduction of a union friendly grievance procedure • the maltreatment inflicted by the management Activity • Conducting questionnaire at the employees’ entrance and via internet • Distributing the pamphlet • Indicators of Achievement • finish 300 questionnaires • collect personal information of 300 workers
Outputs, Activities and Indicators of Achievements • Output 3 (the national level and the international level) • Publish a report on the aforesaid survey • Activity • Analyze the information collected from the survey • Invite global unions and Disney workers unions worldwide to commend on the report • Hold a press conference to release the report • Indicators of Achievement • Have comments from at 3 global unions and Disney workers unions worldwide • at least 10 local and international media cover the report
Outputs, Activities and Indicators of Achievements • Output 4 (the enterprise and the national level) • A letter appealing to HKDL, Legislative councilors and the HK government and urging a meeting with each of these parties • Activity • Draft the letter, urging these parties to observe ILC98 and respect workers’ right of being represented by a union. • Have a meeting with these parties • Indicators of Achievement • Get a written response • Have a meeting with HKDL, the Hong Kong government and at least 20 Legislative councilors
Outputs, Activities and Indicators of Achievements • Output 5 (the international level) • A joint letter appealing to the USDL by Disney workers unions worldwide • Activity • build up liaison with Disney workers unions worldwide • draft the joint letter and send to USDL • Indicators of Achievement • At least 3 Disney workers union get involved in the joint letter • Get a reply from USDL
Outputs, Activities and Indicators of Achievements • Output 6 (the international level) • A report to ILO (complaint to FOA) concerning the failure of the Hong Kong government in facilitating HKDL to observe the ILO constitution and ILC 98. • Activity • Send a letter and all the necessary information to ILO • Keep pressurizing the Hong Kong government, HKDL, USDL if a positive reply is to be received from ILO. • Indicators of Achievement • Get a reply from ILO • Get the HK government, HKDL, USDL into a dialogue.
