  2. Technical information • Platform : All windowstablets. • Target Audience : People from all ageswhoenjoy fun and intuitive gameplay

  3. Gameplay Players control an avatar called “Seed” bouncing from left to right through the level. All along its path there are some obstacles that the player can overcome using a gel on which the avatar will bounce higher than normal. They also are able to use a hook to swing from object to object. The players can use both mechanics in a very simple and intuitive way. For the gel they just have to swipe their finger on the screen, thus creating it following the gesture. We keep the same gesture for the hook, except that the player has to swipe fromtheavatar to its surroundings.

  6. The cabin In the different levels the players can collect trash that will be recycled in order to create some parts to customize their cabin. The cabin can be seen from the main game menu.

  7. The experience we want to deliver We want the joy of this world to come from the 2D art but also from the music and the game design. To ensure that the player doesn’t get bored playing the game we add new kinds of obstacles as they progress through the game.

  8. Joy Our objective is to deliver joy to the player. To achieve this, we are creating a joyful world. We want the avatar to be very expressive and we also have original music that exactly fits the mood of the game.

  9. Background The game takes place on a planet previously occupied by humans. Drained of minerals and filled with waste, this planet has been abandoned. Thoughappearing lifeless, the planet gave out one last gasp of life. This gasp took on a physical form, becoming a little creature that is called a seed.

  10. Background “Physical embodiment of raw life energy. Very lively in nature, up-beat and constantly moving. Has a habit of collecting things and stocking them.” “Huge creatures that control and power the main functions of the planet. Sadly they have been heavily exploited and are now in stasis.” The main goal of Seed is to find the vitals and wake them up from their stasis in order to bring life back to the planet.

  11. Current features: Core mechanics We currently have the basics of the core mechanics of the game :it is possible to create the gel and the hook that will work properly despite some minor features yet to be added.

  12. Progress : Editor Our editor allows us to have an effective workflow for level building and painting, ensuring that we can quickly iterate through multiple tests.

  13. A little bit of planning The game will feature a total of 60 levels, divided into four artisticly unique worlds. For the April release, we plan to have 3 full levels including a tutorial, and the cabin. The full game is planned for the end of the year, the level creation getting faster as we improve our tools. We still have a lot of work to do and really can’t wait to show you more !
