ANY non-operational task you can think of can be accomplished by a citizen advocate • Administrative Functions • Training • Public Safety • and Education • Canteen Services • Fundraising • Public Relations • Scouts • Pre-Plan Research • Data Entry • Construction Skills • Apparatus and Facility Maintenance • Bookkeeping
PJFD Fire and EMS departments require a variety of skills. You will be interviewed to identify your skills, talents and knowledge. A program coordinator will then try to match your skills to an appropriate assignment. For example, … if you're a graphic designer, we may ask you to help design a brochure; … if you're a qualified first aid / CPR instructor, we may need you to help train our members or community residents
PJFD Departments benefit from citizens who range in age from teens to seniors and for people of all abilities and talents. Fire and EMS departments will strive to match your skills with their own needs.
