History • 1972: SkyWest Airlines is born on April 26th when Ralph Atkin buys Dixie Airlines. The operation includes a Fixed Base Operation (FBO) that offers aircraft maintenance, air ambulance service, air charter service and flight school. • Description: A North American regional airline headquartered in St. George Utah, USA flying to 159 cities in 40 US. States, 6 Canadian Provinces, and 1 city in Mexico.
Buisness Facts • Allowed to travel with pets. • SkyWest cannot accept kayaks, windsurf equipment, hang gliders, extra-large or giant pet kennels. Also, any items classified as pressurized gases/liquids, oil-based paint, explosives, poisons, magnetic materials, flammable items, corrosive, etc. are not accepted. • All other partner baggage information applies.
