  1. Convergys – Home Agent ProgramConvergys is an Employer Partner of MSCCN! Establishing yourself as a Remote Agent enables you to do the following: • Work from home - incur no transportation costs or the aggravation of commuting • Reduce wardrobe costs – you can wear what you want at home • Convergys Home Agents are employees of Convergys. It's easy, all you need is: • A quiet place in your home to work; A PC that meets our minimum standards verified during the application process; Cable or DSL high speed internet access & a noise-canceling USB headset. Home Agent Computer Requirements • A home computer that meets Convergys’ PC specifications. You can test your PC when you start your application. • PC Minimum Requirements: 2.8 GHZ Processor / 1 GB of RAM for Windows XP users / 2 GB of RAM for Vista users / 12 GB of Available Hard drive space – Windows 7 is compatible Home Agent Internet Requirements • To effectively accommodate the Convergys Home Agent Software, you will need to have your Internet access provided by a cable or DSL provider. (Wireless or satellite broadband does not work effectively with our desktop configuration, and therefore does not meet our requirements). • Convergys requires certain speeds for uploading and downloading data:     -Minimum up load speed of 500 kbps (.5mbps)    -Minimum down load speed of 1500 kbps (1.5 mbps) • You must also meet the Voice Quality Test with a score of 3.8 or higher. • You can test your internet and voice quality automatically when you start your application. Other Requirements • A USB headset with a built-in digital signal processor; A telephone with a mute button (All monthly telephone and internet charges are the responsibility of the employee and are not reimbursed by Convergys.); A Power Bar with a Surge Protector Job Summary • As a Remote Agent, you will be receiving incoming calls from customers of our client base. The type of calls may vary depending on which account you will become trained in. The call types are sales, customer service, or technical assistance. Hours of Work & Compensation • We have day & evening schedules, 20-40 hours per week – availability is required 7 days per week. Flexible scheduling is provided to our agents. • Work schedules are provided 2 weeks in advance. • Schedules change based upon the business needs, not all schedules have 2 days off in a row. • $9.00 per hour, Paid bi-weekly, Paid training.
