  2. Today you will write 2 paragraphs One paragraph about what type of person annoys you. NOT NAMES—TYPE OF PERSON—People who have certain qualities or commit certain behaviors

  3. 2nd paragraph about the type of person you never want to be and why. • For instance, I don’t ever want to be the type of person that gets jealous of my friend’s success.

  4. Strengths and Weaknesses If you remember “hamartia” is a tragic flaw in a hero that can lead to difficulties for that hero. Write a paragraph about what your “hamartia” would be and what are or could be some negative effects from that flaw.

  5. Strengths Now, that you have examined your classic “hamartia” take a moment to look at your strengths instead. What is a personality trait that you are proud of? How has it helped you be successful and/or happy thus far?

  6. Your Final Reflective Essay Prompt • Using your prewriting, your memories of the year, and your reflective skills, write a 4-5 paragraph essay about something you have realized either about either yourself or the nature of high school this year. • Your requirements: • Must show use of prewriting. • Must be at least 4 paragraphs. • Must have a thesis statement in the introduction. • Must reference one piece of literature or film that we read or viewed.
