UAB’S RECYCLING PROGRAM. These materials would otherwise go to a local landfill. As part of our “GREEN” environmental efforts, UAB has a recycling program in multiple areas. Approximately 2,231,640 pounds of recyclable materials are collected and recycled each year at UAB.

Approximately 2,231,640 pounds of recyclable materials are collected and recycled each year at UAB.
