  2. How to View, Accept, and Decline Your Financial Aid Award Through MyUAlbany Step 1: • Login to MyUAlbanywww.albany.edu/myualbany

  3. Step 2: Click “Accept/Decline Awards”under the Finances Tab

  4. How to View, Accept, and Decline Your Financial Aid Award Through MyUAlbany Step 3: Click on the appropriate Aid Year to view the Award Summary Screen. The Award Summary Screen will list your financial aid award for the selected aid year and academic terms of that aid year.

  5. Click the “Accept” column for each award, or click the “accept all” button. • Clicking the accept column or clicking the “accept all” button will activate the amount in the Accepted field, allowing you to change the accepted amount. • Click the “Submit” button to lock-in your accepted amount. The Submit Confirmation Screen will appear next.

  6. When you click “YES”, you will be returned to the “Award Package” screen and see your accepted amount in the accepted field.

  7. How to View, Accept, and Decline Your Financial Aid Award Through MyUAlbany To Decline an award: • Navigate to the Award Package screen • Click the “Decline box” that corresponds with the award you wish to decline. • Click the “Submit” button to lock-in your decline decision.

  8. When you click the Decline Column, a check will appear in the decline box and the offered amount will change to 0.00. Then click the Submit button. After receiving the Submit Confirmation screen, The buttons to accept and decline will not appear on the Award Package screen.

  9. How To Change Your Award after you have accepted or declined • Award changes after students have accepted or declined, have to be completed by the Financial Aid Office. • The aid adjustment request forms are located on the aid program page of the specific aid programs. • Students wishing to change an accepted or declined award may also contact the Student Financial Center. • Campus-Based award adjustments are determined by funds availability. http://www.albany.edu/financialaid/awardsdetail_dl.shtml http://www.albany.edu/financialaid/tap.shtml

  10. The Federal Work Study link is located in the Finances Tab under Campus Employment. Only students with a Work Study offer will see this link on MyUAlbany.
