Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city in the country. It is also considered the southernmost city in the world. It is located in a wide bay on the south coast of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. The Argentine government recognized Ushuaia as the capital of Tierra del Fuego in 1904. It is approximately 1,100 km off the coast of Antarctica and is the main port of departure for tourist and scientific expeditions.   2. Ushuaia is the capital of Tierra del Fuego and the southernmost city in the country. It is also considered the southernmost city in the world. It is located in a wide bay on the south coast of Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. The Argentine government recognized Ushuaia as the capital of Tierra del Fuego in 1904. It is approximately 1,100 km off the coast of Antarctica and is the main port of departure for tourist and scientific expeditions. The average annual temperature of the area remains in the range of 0 to 10 °C. The original settlement was founded by British missionaries in the late 19th century. A railway, known as the Train at the End of the World, was also built here. It is the southernmost railway line in the world. Tourist attractions include Tierra del Fuego National Park and Lapataia Bay. Ushuaia es la capital de Tierra del Fuego y la ciudad más austral del país. También es considerada la ciudad más austral del mundo. Se encuentra en una amplia bahía en la costa sur de la Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego. El gobierno argentino reconoció a Ushuaia como la capital de Tierra del Fuego en 1904. Bola tu vybudovaná aj železnica, ktorá je známa ako Vlak na konci sveta. Ide o najjužnejšiu železničnú trať na svete. Medzi turistické atrakcie patrí Národný park TierradelFuego a záliv Lapataia.
