V 13. storoci sa dostal do vlastnictva krala Eduarda I.   7. Leeds Castle is a castle in Kent, England. It is built on natural rock outcrops forming two islands in the River Len, east of the village of Leeds. The first fortification in this place already existed in 857. It was situated on a smaller island and both islands were connected by a drawbridge. The first mention of the castle dates from 1086. In the 13th century, it became the property of King Eduard I. In the 16th century, Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII, lived in the castle. The current form of the castle dates from the beginning of the 19th century. It was opened to the public in 1976. It is a sought-after recreational destination. The only museum of dog collars in the world is also located here. In 1988, a maze was built in the park. The castle recorded the highest number of visitors in 2019, when more than half a million visitors visited it. El castillo de Leeds es un castillo en Kent, Inglaterra. Está construido sobre afloramientos rocosos naturales que forman dos islas en el río Len, al este del pueblo de Leeds. La primera fortificación en este lugar ya existía en el año 857. Estaba situada en una isla más pequeña y ambas islas estaban conectadas por un puente levadizo. La primera mención del castillo data del año 1086. En el siglo XIII pasó a ser propiedad del rey Eduardo I. En el siglo XVI vivió en el castillo Catalina de Aragón, la primera esposa del rey Enrique VIII. La forma actual del castillo data de principios del siglo XIX. Fue abierto al público en 1976. Es un destino recreativo muy solicitado. Aquí también se encuentra el único museo de collares para perros del mundo. En 1988 se construyó un laberinto en el parque. V 16. storočí obývala hrad Katarína Aragónska, prvá manželka kráľa Henricha VIII. Súčasná podoba hradu pochádza zo začiatku 19. storočia. Verejnosti bol sprístupnený v roku 1976. Je vyhľadávanou rekreačnou destináciou. Nachádza sa tu aj jediné múzeum psích obojkov na svete. V roku 1988 bolo v parku postavené bludisko. Najväčšiu návštevnosť zaznamenal hrad v roku 2019, keď ho navštívilo vyše pol milióna návštevníkov.
