Core enrichment classes • In grade 10, students have the choice to continue in the following enrichment classes: ENG2DE, MPM2DE, SNC2DE, CHC2DE. • You can select 1, 2, 3, or all 4 of the enriched courses offered. • Students who have achieved high academic success and have not taken enriched courses in grade 9 ARE ELIGIBLE to register in enriched classes! • Students will earn an academic level credit, enrichment activities are added to enhance the learning experience.
Curriculum compacting • Allows a grade 10 student to accelerate through selected courses, in 6-9 weeks. • This is done both on-site and on-line. • Application process must be complete in order to be considered. • For more information contact Ms. Basso in Learning Services. WHY COMPACT? • Designed for students who would like more room for course selection and different programming opportunities such as Advanced Placement, WISE, or SAT.

Plan Ahead • When selecting optional courses for grade 10, make sure to consider the prerequisites for grade 11 courses you might be interested in taking. • For example, if you would like to take Grade 11 University Biology (SBI3U1), you must take Grade 10 Academic Science (SNC2D1)
