  1. Lesson Objectives To mark out our desk tidy workpiece with care and skill and to create a template for the back design. Success Criteria Must Have marked out the workpiece carefully and accurately to show where the base will be cut. Should Have marked your back design template out onto a piece of paper. Could Have cut out the design template, stuck it onto the white card and used it to accurately apply your design to the wood.

  5. Designing your template for the back Measure out the mm height of the flexi-ply and draw a line across. Height of flexi-ply (mm) Draw the outline of your design on the top part. Bring your design to Miss Hudspith to have it checked. If it is ok, you can cut it out and stick it onto your white card and then cut around it to make your template. Make your marks LIGHTLY IN PENCIL.
