The group recently met face-to-face to discuss barriers to change and define models of service delivery, focusing on Integrated, Dual Function, and Virtual Models. The meeting aimed to refine these models and explore the role of Knowledge Brokers. Future meetings will concentrate on communicating discussion to a wider audience.

September Meeting Overview of current contexts of Group Members’ Services Group had been asked to look Physical Space Report in advance of the meeting. Meeting concentrated on looking at the barriers to change Idea of Core Standards was discussed
It was agreed that it would be very difficult to set core standards given the variation in service provision across boards. • Group opted to work towards a definition of models service delivery • Agreed that use of case studies would be beneficial to help illustrate new ways of working.

Knowledge Broker Initially it was felt that KB role was confined to Virtual Model HS Test of change Project many different skillsets considered themselves to be Knowledge Brokers KB and Librarian role Attempt will be made to define Knowledge Broker role for next meeting
Next meeting will concentrate on refining the models Need to look at communicating discussion to a wider audience Use of mailing list and Journal Club in Shine
