  3. 5 A Day 5 A Day is a healthy eating scheme where you are advised to eat at least 5 fruit and vegetables each day. If you don’t then you should aim for at least 3 or 4. Almost all fruit and vegetables count towards your 5 A Day. That’s why it’s quite easy to make sure you get your five fruit and veg. This is what counts: Fresh fruit and vegetables, frozen fruit and vegetables, tinned or canned fruit and vegetables, dried fruit, fruit and vegetables cooked in dishes (like soups, stews or pasta dishes), a glass (which is 150ml) of unsweetened fruit/ vegetable juice. Juice counts as a maximum of one portion a day, however much you drink. Tomato juice!

  4. A Day’s Healthy Eating This is what a healthy diet might look like for one day: Breakfast: Orange juice, Water, Milk Jam + toast, Rice Krispies. Lunch: Water, Blackcurrant squash. Ham and Cucumber sandwiches, Cheese and Cucumber sandwiches. Dinner: Water, Apple Juice, Spaghetti Bolognaise, Spaghetti Carbonara. Peach Slices with Cream or Ice Cream.

  5. Why Do We Eat Healthily? Some people want to know- Why Do We Eat Healthily? Well, here’s the answer… We eat healthily because our body needs lots of different foods to keep it fit and healthy. It is important that we eat fruit and vegetables, along with the rest of a balanced diet, otherwise we will become quite large. If you eat loads of burgers, you will have too much fat and salt in your body and there is a risk of you having a heart attack which may be is fatal. This is a balanced diet

  6. Healthy Sports These are some sports to keep you fit and healthy. • Rugby • Football • Netball • Basketball • Hockey • Judo • Karate • Tae Kwon Do • Kickboxing • Boxing • Wrestling
