TYPES OF OPREPS • OPREP-3 Navy Blue • OPREP-3 Navy Unit SITREP • * Used to report any personnel incident that could attract high level Navy interest (B-1)
REPORTING TIMELINES • OPREP-3 Navy Blue • Voice report to MOC, NOC, or NMCC within 5 minutes (CH 2 and table 2-2) • Record Message Report within 60 min (2-1) • Voice report to appropriate CNO (N1) POC within 24 hrs (B-3) • * Initial reports not required to be complete; emphasis on immediacy rather than content (2-1)

(CONT) OPREP FORMAT • Type of message (INIT, FOLUP, CORR, FINAL) placed in the third field of the TIMELOC set (2-8) • Serial number should be placed in third field of the MSGID set (2-11) • Serialize in sequence by incident within calendar year • FOLUP will be assigned sequential letter suffixes (2-11) • 001 (first incident at the command for the calendar year) • 001A, 001B, etc. (FOLUP messages) (2-11)

NAVY EO OFFICE • Daily review of all messages • Monthly submission for TOFR • Weekly update for open investigations to ECH II EOAs for all DISC/SH cases in their AOR • Monthly comparative of cases compared to previous FY
