Scrutiny for Admissibility • RGA examined the admissibility of each proposal as per set criteria in the Guidelines. • Admissible and Non-Admissible Proposals • A list of the admissible and non-admissible proposals was prepared along with their budget. • Evaluation and Ranking • TAT Members Evaluated and Made Ranking.

Mode of Payment - CF • 1. 20% upon signature of the Agreement • 2. 35% upon acceptance by FAO of the 3 months technical progress report • 3. 35% upon acceptance by FAO of the 6 months progress report • (first 6 months, 90 % fund- released) • 4. 10% upon acceptance by FAO of the statement of expenditures incurred and the reports and statement of accounts supported by bank statement.

Mode of Payment - PR • 20% upon signature of the Agreement • 30% upon acceptance by FAO of the 3 months technical progress report • 20% upon acceptance by FAO of the 6 months progress report • (first 9 months, 70% fund- released) • 20% upon acceptance by FAO of the 12 months progress report • 5. 10% upon acceptance by FAO of the statement of expenditures incurred and statement of accounts supported • by bank statement.

Monitoring of On-Going Research • TWO TAT Members (1- International + 1- National) monitoring each Research • Presented in Seminars at FPMU: December 2008 to February 2009. • Field Visit • Inviting researchers in FPMU -discussion • Arranged Seminars for each proposals- participated by the FPMU, TRT members

Future Opportunities • Hopeful to Continue the Research Grant in a new style in Phase 2 of the NFPCSP: start January 1, 2009 • Continue Dialogue on the Research Results and Suggest Policies for the Implementation of the National Food Policy • For Update Visit Project Web-site (www.nfpcsp.org).
