  2. Changchun, China Changchun, located northeast of China, is the capital of Jilin province. It is a Chinese version of a combination of Detroit and Hollywood. It has China's oldest motor vehicle plant and its biggest film studio.

  3. Changchun is dubbed the “City of Science and Technology” because of its 36 universities and colleges, and 98 scientific institutes. Among them, the most renowned are Jilin University, Changchun University, and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP).

  4. Changchun is known locally as the “City of Automobiles”, indicating the significance of automobile manufacturing in the city. Auto industry accounted for 59% of the city's industrial output. China's first self-made sedan and truck were born in Changchun in 1950s. They were made by the nation's first auto producer, the First Automobile Works (FAW). At present, FAW is the country's second-largest auto manufacturer.

  5. Jilin University • Jilin University (JLU) is a leading national university under the direct jurisdiction of China's Ministry of Education. • JLU offers a variety of degree programs. It has now 129 undergraduate programs, 304 master‘s degree program, 244doctoral degree programs, and 42post-doctoral programs. The year of 2015 saw the enrollment of a total of 69,587-odd full time students among whom more than 20,000 are graduate students. 

  6. The Second Hospital of Jilin University was founded in 1936. It was assessed as the first standard Third Grade First Class (3A) hospital in 1994 by the Chinese Ministry of Health.

  7. Our hospital has three branches, which covers an area of 185,396 square meters, a building area of 168,988 square meters. The new hospital in Yatai is under construction, with a building area of 283,960 square meters in plan. There are 50 clinical departments and 10 medico-technical departments including: 6 key clinical specialty construction projects of Chinese Ministry of Health, 6 provincial quality control centers, more than 10 provincial-level and university-level research and diagnostic centers, and a chairman of the more than 10 specialized branches in Jilin Province of the Chinese Medical Association.

Jilin University Second Hospital has sophisticated medical equipment including Philips 256 row CT, Siemens 1.5T MRI, E-CT, Hitachi Scenaria(128), Magnetic Resonance Imaging System, Digital Subtraction Angiography, medical electron linear accelerator, femtosecond laser therapeutic apparatus, sharp shadow color doppler ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and more than 300 desktops.

  9. There are 50 clinical departments and 10 medico-technical departments, more than 10 provincial-level research and diagnostic centers. The hospital has 4,000 beds usually available. 4,000 on the job workers. Outpatient service more than 1,500,000 person-times per year, inpatient about 96000 person times per year, nearly 50,000 cases of surgery.
