One of Shakespeare’s relatives on his mother’s side William Arden was arrested for plotting against Queen Elizabeth I imprisoned in the Tower of London and executed His nickname was Swan of Avon / Bard of Avon / The Bard They mean Will Shakespeare / Shakespeare He made 154 sonnets and He married Anne Hathaway at the age 18.   3. BIRTH/Death Born on April 26, 1564 the actual date of Shakespeare's birth is not known. He was baptizedat Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon on April 26, 1564.

  4. Death The exact date of death is not known but it seems fitting that he died on April 23rd April, the same date given for his birth. Which is wired because no one knows when he was born or when he died so its like he showed up in this world and just vanished. Shakespeare died on April 23, 1616. In his will, he left most of his real estate to his daughter Susanna. A statement was inserted between the lines in the will, which said: "I give unto my wife my second best bed with the furniture." The "furniture" was the bedclothes for the bed. This is all he left his wife in his will, and the only time she was mentioned.
