2. General Information • REQUIREMENT:Registration for use of the Lab is necessary upon first time use per semester.  Students are required to present a current Student Picture I.D. at the front desk to access the Lab. • Walk-in or Make an appointment on line • Fee : All the services here are free

Hours : Fall 2009 • Learning Assistance and Learning Lab Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 10:30 pm Friday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Saturday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm • Skills Lab/Skills Development Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 10:00 pm Friday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm Saturday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm • Tutorial Services Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am - 7:00 pm Friday: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Saturday: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm • Testing Services(No test will be given in the last hour) Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 9:30 pm (Tests must be completed by 9:30pm) Friday: 7:30 am - 3:30 pm (Tests must be completed by 3:30pm) Saturday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Tests must be completed by 5:00pm)

Learning Lab • RESOURCES:Both PC and MAC computers are available in the Learning Lab. • SUPPORT:Using a computer or a specific program Setting up an e-mail account Using databases for research.  * Workshops – 1. appointment basis 2. Learn instruction on word-processing, E-mail, database/web research, PowerPoint and course-related materials. • LIMITED EMAIL:Private E-mail – 30 minute time-limit basis.  • ART DISPLAY :The Learning Lab staff invites all to visit our student-oriented facility where MSAC student-artist work is proudly displayed.  The current rotation of art displayed comes from Photography and Graphic Arts classes.

Testing Services • Do you need to make up a test for an on-campus or online course? • We can also help you out if you are taking a test from another college or university. • Contact : Jean or Barbara @ x 4300 or email Jean at gjernigan@mtsac.edu. • Offer Computer-Based Testing for Courses at Other Colleges.
